Our house is moving right along. We have been so happy with our builder, and they have been getting everything for our house done so quickly and smoothly (& we have been SO picky- but, they continue to put up with us and always do so with a smile on their face...even if it is a forced smile). We try to stop by once a week to check on the progress, and it's amazing how much is accomplished in that short period of time. We're a little over 2 months to completion now and here's what it looks like:

Exterior. It looks like they are getting ready to stucco. There is still some framing to do first. The popped-up entry will be wider and there will be a porch over the 3 windows in front and a large, stone-veneered column.

Entryway- this is really high. We are going to have two drop-down chandeliers in here.

Living room- The crossed beams will be stained dark and we are also going to faux-paint the ceiling in here. (Also- apparently the 2 larger/thicker beams weigh 700 pounds!!! The construction crew was waiting around for a crane to lift them, and our contractor stopped in and told them to stop being such girls and just get it up there! Yikes! They got it done it looks like...I hope no one was hurt in the process :/) This is the first room off the entry.

Kitchen- it looks like they are working on framing the bar; hopefully this is up next week because I'm still having a hard time picturing the size/layout of the kitchen

Family room (this room, the kitchen, and the dining area all flow into one another. I love the high windows; 12-ft ceilings in here)

Dining area. There are so many windows on this part of the house because of the awesome view of the Organ mountains from the back. The arched entry leads to the master bedroom. This wall is curved.

Random picture of the master shower.

Back porch. The stamped concrete is done back here; We'll also have stamped concrete in the front, and I want it stained a darkesh red-gray color similar to what the roof tiles will be.

The stone walls are up on 2 sides. Levi likes using this as a balance beam.
