Pajama Party!!

We had a fun night last night followed by a fun morning this morning! Our friends, the Checketts stopped by to spend the night with us last night. They were driving from Mesa, AZ to San Antonio, TX, where they will be moving and starting a life in the Air Force. We LoVeD spending some time with them! It was basically a pajama party because they got here in the evening and had to head out after breakfast- but really FUN just the same!

The boys spent a lot of the evening outside playing- I'm sure my neighbors were wondering what the heck was going on! Levi then proceeded to turn on some music and convince the other kiddos to have a dance party with him- it was pretty cute. Russel and Oliver loved my boys rainboots and wore them with their jammies last night and first thing this morning- (I think I know what they need for Christmas!)

They arrived close to bedtime, but were so excited to see each other, they all just played and played! We eventually got James and Weston down, but the older kiddos didn't want to stop...let's just say that there were 2 digits in the hour that they FiNaLlY consented to laying down. Levi and Russel wanted to sleep in the tent, but that actually only lasted about 5 minutes before Levi kicked Russel out because he was wiped- these boys crashed hard when they finally crashed. :)

The fun started all over again around 7 this morning. We miss these guys- they were neighbors in Colorado for 3 years. Levi and Russel are practically brothers. Jessica and I traded babysitting after they were born and we both went back to work part-time, which meant these two boys spent all day together 4 days a week, and then we often got together on the weekends and at the very least spent time at Church together. When they saw each other again this time (after a year apart), it was like they had never been apart- it was pretty cool! Hopefully we get to see our friends again soon! Thanks for stopping by!
