This is a new concept for us in the Petersen household, and we've been trying to teach Levi about this place called work. Work is different from school because you make money at work...(you pay money to go to school). Levi was all upset because Daddy was going to be at work all week, so I let him know that this was actually a good thing. If Daddy goes to work, then we can have money to buy things like clothes and food and toys. When I explained this to my little man, he got all excited... he said "Oh, okay. Daddy is at work buying me a toy"...(a green dinosaur to be exact)!! For the rest of the week, he told me (and his Dad, when he got to talk to him on the phone) that his Daddy was at work, and he was going to buy him a green dinosaur. (I guess we'll have to keep working on this concept). Well, after working all week, Daddy got to come home for the weekend...hooray for work!!
