Fun at the Pumpkin Patch!!

After having a really cold week, we had really nice weather last week. On top of that, Matt had 2 days off school; so, we decided that Thursday would be the perfect day for this year's (& our first) trip to the Pumpkin Patch. We invited some friends to come along and drove out to Broomfield. Unfortunately, we had an early freeze this year, so many of the pumpkins were already bad. We picked out a nice-looking one, but I also suspect that it will go the way of its friends way before Halloween (we'll just have to swap it out with one from the grocery store- don't tell Levi). Levi had a good time in the patch (especially when it came to helping Daddy cut the pumpkin off the vine), and also petting some of the farm animals and playing in the bounce house and giant slide they had set up there.
